Here is everything you need to know about the NEET UG 2023 admit card and how to prepare for the exam.

When will the NEET UG 2023 admit card be released?

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which is the conducting body of NEET UG 2023, has not announced the official date for releasing the admit card yet. However, based on previous years’ trends, it is expected that the admit card will be available on the official website of NTA NEET (neet.nta.nic.in) by 2 May 2023. Candidates will be able to download their admit card by entering their application number and date of birth.

How to download the NEET UG 2023 admit card?

To download your NEET UG 2023, admit card, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of NTA NEET (neet.nta.nic.in).
  • Click on the link that says “Download Admit Card”.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth and click on “Submit”.
  • Your admit card will appear on the screen. Check all the details carefully and download it.
  • Take a printout of your admit card and keep it safe for future reference.

What are the details mentioned on the NEET UG 2023 admit card?

The NEET UG 2023 admit card will contain the following details:

What is the dress code for NEET UG 2023?

  • Wear light-colored clothes with half sleeves. Avoid clothes with big buttons, brooches, badges, or any kind of embroidery.
  • Wear slippers or sandals with low heels. Avoid shoes or boots.
  • Do not wear any kind of jewelry, ornaments, watches, bracelets, rings, etc.
  • Do not wear any kind of headgear, cap, scarf, turban, etc., unless required for religious reasons.
  • Do not carry any kind of electronic devices, such as mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth devices, earphones, etc.
  • Do not carry any kind of stationery items, such as pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, paper, etc., as they will be provided at the exam center.
  • Do not carry any kind of eatables or drinks to the exam center.

What are the exam day guidelines for NEET UG 2023?

NEET UG 2023 is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. The exam will be held on May 7, 2023, in offline mode across various exam centers. The exam will start at 2 PM and end at 5:20 PM on the same day.

If you are planning to appear for NEET UG 2023, you must follow the exam day guidelines issued by the NTA. These guidelines provide important information and instructions about the exam day procedures, such as reporting time, dress code, prohibited items, documentation, and general dos and don’ts. Here are some of the key points to remember:

  • You must download and print your NEET UG 2023 admit card from the official website of NTA NEET. The admit card will have your roll number, exam center details, and other instructions. You must carry your admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID card, etc.) and a passport-size photograph to the exam center.
  • You must report to the exam center at least an hour before the exam starts. The entry to the exam hall will close at 1:30 PM. No candidate will be allowed to enter after that. You must also follow the COVID-19 safety protocols such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, and sanitizing your hands frequently.
  • You must wear light clothes without long sleeves. Cultural or customary dresses are allowed, but you must report to the exam center at least an hour before the exam for proper frisking. You must also avoid wearing any jewelry, ornaments, watches, belts, caps, or any other accessories that may contain metal.
  • You must not carry any barred items to the exam center, such as mobile phones, calculators, electronic devices, books, notes, papers, pens, pencils, erasers, or any other stationery items. You will be provided with a pen and a rough sheet by the invigilator in the exam hall. You must return these items after the exam is over.
  • You must follow the instructions given by the invigilator in the exam hall. You must not indulge in any unfair means or malpractice during the exam. If you are found violating any rules or guidelines, your candidature will be canceled and you may face legal action.
  • You must check your question paper and answer sheet carefully before attempting the exam. The question paper will have 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), and English Language Comprehension. The answer sheet will have four circles for each question. You must mark only one circle with a blue or black ballpoint pen as your answer.
  • You must not leave the exam hall before the end of the exam. You must hand over your answer sheet and rough sheet to the invigilator before leaving. You must also sign the attendance sheet and put your left-hand thumb impression on it.
