After a not-so-successful first try, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) made a comeback and successfully launched the ISRO TV-D1 rocket for the Gaganyaan Mission. The rocket took off at 10 a.m. on Saturday from Sriharikota.

ISRO Chairman Expresses Happiness

ISRO Chairman S Somanath expressed his joy over the successful launch. He said, “I am very happy to announce the successful accomplishment of the Gaganyaan TV-D1 mission.”

Glitches Fixed for a Smooth Launch

Before the second attempt, ISRO fixed all the glitches that caused the initial launch to fail. The space agency identified and corrected the issues, ensuring a smooth launch this time.

India’s Ambitious Gaganyaan Mission

India’s Gaganyaan mission is a big step forward in the country’s space exploration efforts. It aims to demonstrate that humans can be sent into space. The plan is to launch a crew of three members into a 400 km orbit for a 3-day mission and bring them back safely to Earth by landing in Indian waters.
